Pneumatic cylinders: Firestone Airstroke™
Firestone™ air springs can also be used as a durable pneumatic cylinder for various applications. Air springs have a similar capacity as hydraulic cylinders, perform extremely well in dirty, corrosive and abrasive industrial environments, and can easily accept angular and lateral misalignment. Firestone Airstroke™ series have a high ratio of stroke to collapsed height. Therefore they are a valid alternative for flexible force applications, especially for installations with limited height for placing the cylinder.
